A Family Tradition

Susie's Garden Patch, situated in Garden Prairie, IL on Highway 20, have strawberries and vegetables for U-Picking such as peas, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, fall decorations, pumpkins and much more.

Susie's Garden Patch is the only U-Pick Farm in Boone County and the surrounding area. Costumers can pick from a large variety fruits and vegetables at wholesale prices.

Susie's Garden Patch was started by Douglas and Susan Silberhorn and their three girls in 1985 and is family owned and family operated. It has developed into the place to go for the juiciest and sweetest berries around. Children will enjoy the playground and seeing the animals that are raised for the family.

Susie's Garden Patch grows luscious strawberries and vegetables sprayed with the lowest amounts of chemicals possible. It can be challenging for us to grow fruit and vegetables that way, but it's important to us that you have pure, delicious, worry-free vegetables that's safe to eat!

We are not organic, however; we use organic practices along with IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
